New Buildings Farm is a traditional mixed upland farm near the Derbyshire Peak District and the towns of Wirksworth and Matlock. The farm has accommodation for visitors in the bunk barn.
As well as livestock farming, New Buildings is also home to a horticultural enterprise and coppice and woodland management.
The farm is carefully managed to encourage the greatest diversity of wildlife. Recent bird surveys have shown many threatened species have populations on the farm. Among the more spectacular residents are nesting buzzards. There are also badgers, although you are unlikely to see them.
